Do you use the commercial products attached to your hose ? If not, can you recommend an arborist ? Thanks

Spraying chemicals up into your tree also sprays your neighbors' properties. Better to go pro. Taddiken Tree uses a systemic called Merit. No spray!

If you call Taddiken, ask for Dave Grieve.

Are you sure of the bug, or whatever. The Ash trees around here have Ash Borer, which will eventually kill the tree. The City of Broomfield has an on-staff Arborist and he may be willing to come out and assist you. If it is Ash Borer, Home Depot sells something that works very well, but it may take a few years to note an improvement. The City Arborist met with our neighbors and looked at everyone's trees, and we all have this issue with Ash trees. The product recommended is made by Bayer, in a big blue container, and retails for around $10. HD people can show you this product. It was also recommended to apply it only in the Spring as this is when the tree will suck it up into the tree. Its a very simple application, just pour the recommended amount around the tree base. There is no issue with neighbors by applying it this way.
