Results of Monday game and reminder about Deep Stack Game

Well, I wasn't sure how many folks would show up for a Labor Day game. Turns out, a LOT!

We had 21 players plus two re-buys. We paid the top 4.

The bounties were Don & John.

We also had a new player Pete! Welcome Pete!!! :D

This time, the new guy did not keep up the tradition of finishing in the money. I guess he is waiting to do that in the deep stack tournament tomorrow.

Speaking of that, I hope to start promptly at noon. If you are registered but not there we will post your blinds for you.

The initial seating will be done by drawing a card. Each seat will have A - 10 on it. You will draw a card and then go to the seat which matches the card.

I was on a great roll today. Hit lots of monster hands. This game is sure easy when the cards are coming. Perhaps my dry streak is over.

When we were down to the final two (Don and myself) I started the hand with J 10 of hearts. I ended up with a Royal Flush. Don ended up with a flush on the river and went all in. I, of course, called and since I had Don out chipped I ended up winning it all.

This is the first time in my life that I have ever had a Royal Flush.

Here are your top finishers

1st: Dave
2nd: Don
3rd: Hy
4th: Bob G

Bubble Boy: Dennis
Bounty Winners: Don (for making the money while being a bounty), Barb (for taking out John).

Have a great evening and good luck to everyone who is playing in the deep stack tournament tomorrow.
Dave
